Alona Nisimov’s beautiful and happy family life was shattered by the sudden discovery: her husband Sergey Nisimov, father of 3 kids and the main provider for the family, had a brain tumor. On Wednesday, July 6th, he was driving home from work and complained about not feeling well while driving home, and his phone cut off.

He was found unconscious in the car along Dufferin Street, and immediately transported to the hospital. The doctors discovered the brain tumor right away, and for 2 days Sergey was in an induced coma in Critical Care Unit. The tumor is so close to vital organs, that it cannot be removed. He will have to undergo various treatments, including radiation, but currently he is unable to take care of himself.

Sergey has always been an active person, a hard-working father of 3 kids, who are currently 15, 12 and 11, a dedicated husband and a great role model. The family is currently in a dire financial need due to this unexpected onset of his illness, and they need YOUR HELP! Any amount will help them survive and bring Sergey closer to his recovery. The family has no Critical Illness insurance, and they desperately need to cover daily expenses, such as their mortgage payments, food and gas to drive Sergey to his treatments.
