Donate to help Oksana bring her Mom from Ukraine

Hi! We're gathering funds to help Oksana cover the substantial expenses of getting her mom out of Ukraine. Last week Oksana, without much knowledge or concrete plans of how things were going to turn out, got on a plane to Budapest to begin the uphill, dangerous challenge of bringing her disabled mother back to the US after the mandatory evacuation order for all women and children. The loose plan was that her mother would somehow get to the western border - a 20-hour trip by car and that Oksana would unite with her there. But unfortunately, just getting to the Ukrainian border alone involves multiple flights and many hours in a rental car and hotel stays. This is the tip of the iceberg of logistical challenges. Getting flights home and securing them in a reliable airport is unclear and unsure, and her mother's physical disability adds to the challenge. There is so much unknown. One way we can help is to ease the financial burden of the substantial travel and lodging fees. I know Oksana is selflessly doing this as anyone would do what they had to do to help their mom out of a tragic situation, but what she is doing is heroic. I'd love to pull together what we can to help. Any amount is significant.
