Hi, My name is Sherie Howard an Air Force Veteran. After serving my country I realized there was a void between military and civilian life that made the transition very dificult. The military skill set and discipline did not prepare me for a society that was not aligned with who I had become. It took time to find my way, but once I did, there was not stopping me. Was it a challenge? Yes, but with the right tools the journey could have been much easier. The chapter that followed was a 45 year business career, that allows me to continue to serve, and the benefactor is my community. You see, I am a Realtor and Mortgage broker that focuses on housing not only for Veterans, but the community as a whole. That's why I am asking for your help with providing the basic skills and contacts for our Veterans and their families as they transition from military to civilian life. Our government has several departments that help with housing, education and health, but the connection to that community still has a gap for those who need a handup. Like mindedness on opinions, ideas, interest, and attitude is where GC Productions our Non-Profit organization connects with our Veteran community. We provide support through networking, group meetings, hotlines and events that guide and support our military Veteran community through their transition to civilian life.
