Hello, my name is Jessica and that gorgeous bride standing with me is my best friend Summer! I met Summer 20 years ago through her family and we have been besties ever since! Over these last two decades, Summer has devoted herself to her family and loved ones, always being there for anyone who needed her. She is a wonderful "aunt Sunni" to countless nieces and nephews who love her dearly. She is a loving daughter, sister, friend, aunt, wife and granddaughter to many, many people and we absolutely adore her! Being "aunt sunni" and even just "Summer" means that when people need her.. she is there!! Now it's time to return the favor! We have recently learned that Summer has stage 3c metastatic ovarian cancer, and now SHE needs US! Medical bills can pile up on us all very fast and even faster for cancer patients. Currently, Summer does not have insurance and is paying out of pocket per doctor visit and nobody should ever be concerned with money when they're battling caner! Summer has been given a lot of hope from her care team about her success odds. She will need to undergo chemotherapy followed by surgery to clear the cancer from her body with more chemo to follow. Her doctors are wonderful doctors and they are ready to help summer beat her cancer.
