Hi my name is Linda and I am fundraising for Diana Dunnam who on July 30, 2022 went to the hospital for chest pain. She ended up having a heart attack in the ER and flatlining. They were able to revive her and she ended up having four stents and eight balloons put in due to severe blockage. About 10 hours later she had another heart attack and flatlined again. They were able to revive her once again, which is a true miracle!!!

Diana currently has only 25% of her heart functioning they would like this level at 60% in order to put in a pacemaker. Since she cannot get a pacemaker at this time, they have given her a lifevest. She is currently in the hospital still and is unable to sit up in bed by herself because due to four cracked ribs from compressions done in her. (CPR) Even though Diana has medical insurance her insurance will cover only 70% of a rehab facility and then she has to meet her deductible which is about $3000. Mentally Diana is not ready to go home without any further care.

A little bit about Diana, she has volunteered for the Houston livestock show and rodeo for so many years I’ve lost count, she’s a wonderful leader and mother, a sister, a grandmother and my best friend. Diana will give you the shirt off her back, she is always willing to help anyone in need at any time and NEVER says no. If we could pull together this money to help her to get into rehab and to help offset the medical (and household) bills it would be a blessing. She will have to wear this lifevest for 90 days so as you can imagine she will be incurring bills and not to mention have to pay whatever regular household bills that she has. Diana is the strongest person I know to have gone through all this as she flatlined twice, has cracked ribs and is still able to keep a smile on her face.
