It’s really hard for me to write this, especially asking for help in this way. My name is Alicea, me and my family experienced a life changing experience. Jan 24,2024 we stood in front of our dream home and watch flames rip through each and every room. With everything we worked so hard for in it. My husband a Marine Corps veteran and retired law enforcement officer dedicated his life to give his family an opportunity for a better life. Originally from the Bronx, New York. We moved to Mahopac and purchased our home in 2017. Our 5 children took some time to adjust to the new environment. We saw a promising future. Despite what was going on in the world. The injustice and COVID-19 pandemic we grew together and we built our home. Our life was great. Our children, 19 away at Buffalo State University was home for the holidays. 17 a senior in high school and plays for the high school football team. 15 a sophomore and runs track for his high school team. Our seven and five year old are the sweetest little people you will ever meet. We were dedicated. This experience caused our world to collapse.
