Donate to help Rich and Nadine Cortese

On Wednesday, October 4th, Rich suffered a stroke from a brain bleed. Nadine was given no hope from doctors that Rich would survive and be able to return to normal life. That night he was transferred to Yale and since has been taken off sedation, taken off the breathing tube and moved out of the ICU. However, there are daily challenges. Regulating blood pressure, fever with infection, right side weakness, double vision among some. We are all so thankful for his miraculous recovery but there is a long process of rehabilitation and healing ahead.

Rich and Nadine were also in the process of moving out of their condo in Wolcott and heading to North Carolina. There will be lots of expenses in the coming year while Rich and Nadine work through this change in their lives. They will need to find suitable housing in the Waterbury area as Rich works through his recovery. We hope to help them with cost of living expenses, travel expenses and any medical bills not covered.

I know that Rich and Nadine have a vast influence on many lives. Here is a way that we can support them and show them how much they mean to all of us!
