Help Rosa's Fight for Her Life

In August 2024, Rosa (my mother) was admitted to a hospital due to severe pains in the abdomen. After many tests, she was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the liver. We’re now approaching November of 2024, and we have tacked on 3 ER trips, 3 ambulance rides, paying out of pocket for tools/supplies needed immediately at home. Getting the appointments/assistance needed has been an extremely slow and frustrating process to say the least. & it’s devastating knowing this is just the beginning stages of inquiring Treatment options.

Rosa’s most recent hospital stay (late October) had uncovered that she more likely has stage 4 colon cancer, which has spread to the liver (the initial finding/diagnosis). So here we are, again, awaiting the oncology appointments and additional tests to hopefully receive clarity of Rosa’s overall diagnosis and life expectancy. As these last couple of months have passed, Rosa’s mobility has declined severely. Myself and my two brothers have bound together to assist our mother with any and everything while we await in-home professional assistance.

We are working our hardest to get our mother the medical attention she needs. Fighting against all roadblocks.

UPDATE: Rosa had passed away 11/12/24. Everything happened quickly but she went peacefully. She was surrounded by myself & her two sons through her last breaths.
