Hello everybody, my name is Alexis Toliver. My husband and I recently returned to San Antonio from England, where we are currently stationed, to visit family and friends. Upon our return we received devastating news that Roxy had to be rushed to the Emergency Room due to an obstruction in her intestines. Roxy has been with me since she was 6 weeks old and is such a huge part of our family. So when given the option to go through with surgery or put her down we opted for surgery. Unfortunately in England they do not do payment plans nor do they provide assistance. We moved finances around to cover her surgery and were told she needs to be monitored 24/7 for the next few days. The amount we are requesting will go towards covering her ongoing hospital stay, medication as well as any other testing she needs. Anthony and I were hoping to not have to go this route however, we now have no choice. We are reaching out to family and friends and are asking for your help in an effort to keep Roxy’s treatment going. It’s been extremely difficult to be across the country and not be able to physically be there while she’s going through this. Thank you to those who are able to support in any way.
