Please Help Me Save My Parvo Puppies

Donation protected

On June 23rd, original post-

I believe in being transparent and honest, so I'm sharing my experience. As many of you know, Peach was returned to me so I decided to keep her and I renamed her Ellie. The owner that had her for a few weeks did not give me shot records, so I assumed she was late and gave her one as soon as I got home. It was too late. She got parvo and shared it with many of my puppies. With how many puppies I have right now, it could have been much worse. Luckily, we caught it quickly and with our vet's help, it only spread to 4 other puppies. We have been diligent to keep it from going to all puppies. And will have to continue to be diligent for many many months to come.

Slash and Liam got it and unfortunately we lost them. Burt, Ernie and Tracii Guns also got it, they are currently recovering. All of this could have been easily avoided, had Peach gotten her shots on time. But if you know me, my dogs are everything to me and my buyers are too. I did everything I could for Slash and Liam and still feel guilty about losing them. But please take this as a learning lesson. Keep your puppies up to date on shots. It's such a small investment in comparison to your baby's lives.

Update June 25th, we now have 6 sick babies and it is draining us emotionally, physically, and financially. If anyone can donate, even a dollar helps to go to the cost of saving these babies! And their lives are worth saving! Please help however you can! It means the world to us!

Donations will go to veterinary care for my puppies. We are doing in home hospitalization because my vet can't handle so many sick puppies at once. Costs include IV bags, IV lines, needles, bleach, baby food, yogurt, sanitation products, towels, paper towels, gas back and forth to the vet, etc. You can donate directly or you can donate to my vet. Cedar Ridge Veterinary Clinic- [phone redacted]. The account is under my name- Stephanie Garnet.

Update- 6/26 we now have 7 sick puppies, 2 more of Khaleesi's came down with it. So we know we started preventative too late to do good. We have figured out, to save a parvo puppy, costs are about $750 to $900 per puppy. We really appreciate the donations and they ARE helping more than you know!!! We have had 13 puppies come down with parvo total. 4 are/have recovering/recovered, we lost 2, and have 7 more currently sick.

Update- 6/28- we lost Susie this morning. We have now lost 3 precious lives.

July 7th- So far, we have spent $4793.53 with another projected $800 to $1000 in costs.
