Help Shaimaa and her family

Help Shaima and her family in the besieged Gaza Strip. She is asking for support to raise enough funds to secure her needs in Gaza after losing her home and everything in it. Shaima's family lived in Gaza City until they were ordered to evacuate in mid-October. They have been displaced 12 times so far, the latest being very recently from Rafah, and they now find themselves in another tent somewhere else, lacking basic necessities. With each passing day, the fear of yet another displacement looms closer, with no safe area to move to.

Hello, I am Shaima from Gaza, Palestine...

I am 27 years old...

Married with two children...

I am writing this after much thought and hesitation. But the urgent need to save my family outweighs my ability to endure. I am fundraising to help my family live a good life!

I am urgently asking for your generous support to help me provide for my family after losing everything I owned, my job, and my home. I am asking for your help to rebuild my house—my tent—after it was damaged by the constant shelling.

I had a home.

But they destroyed it!

And the furniture inside it...

My husband had his job and his source of income until it was destroyed by the occupation in a few seconds.

We are now homeless, like many others, due to the ongoing bombing of Gaza since October 7. My family has been displaced 12 times.

We are sheltering like hundreds of displaced families over the past ten months in a school that has now become a community shelter for thousands of people trapped in the south. Women and children sleep inside classrooms, while men sleep outside in tents set up in the yard. Recently, rainstorms flooded our tents, making it very difficult to meet our basic needs.

The journey when we left miraculously by car to the south of the Gaza Strip, to what they called safe shelters, was filled with memories. Our first night away from home was spent in the streets due to a lack of space from the mass displacement.

My family sits in a tent now, living a miserable life that has no meaning.

We hope for any truce or ceasefire. We hope to return.

ساعد شيماء وعائلتها في قطاع غزة المحاصر. هي تطلب الدعم لجمع الأموال الكافية لتأمين احتياجاتها في غزة، بعد ان فقدت بيتها وكل ما فيه.

وكانت عائلة شيماء تعيش في مدينة غزة حتى صدرت الأوامر لهم بالإخلاء في منتصف أكتوبر/تشرين الأول. لقد تم تهجيرهم حتى الآن 12 مرة، آخر نزوح كان قبل فترة قصيرة جداً من رفح ، وينتهي بهم الأمر الآن في خيمة أخرى في مكان آخر، حيث تفتقر إلى ضروريات الحياة الأساسية. ومع مرور كل يوم، يقترب الخوف من نزوح آخر مع عدم وجود منطقة آمنة للانتقال إليها.

عمري 27 سنة..

متزوجة ولدي طفلين..

أكتب هذا بعد الكثير من التفكير والتردد. لكن الحاجة الملحة والحاجة لإنقاذ عائلتي أكبر من قدرتي على الصمود، وأنا أقوم بجمع التبرعات لمساعدة عائلتي على العيش حياة جيدة!

إنني أطلب بشدة دعمكم السخي لمساعدتي في توفير احتياجات عائلتي بعد ان فقدت كل ما املك وفقدت عملي وبيتي، واطلب مساعدتكم لاعادة بناء منزلي اقصد خيمتي بعد ان تضررت من كثرة القصف المستمر.

كان لزوجي عمله ومصدر رزقه حتى دمره الاحتلال في أقل من الثواني..

نحن الآن بلا مأوى مثل كثيرين آخرين بسبب القصف المستمر على غزة منذ 7 أكتوبر. نزحت عائلتي 12 مرة.

نحن نأوي مثل مئات النازحين

عائلات على مدى الأشهر العشرة الماضية في مدرسة أصبحت الآن ملجأ مجتمعيًا لآلاف الأشخاص المحاصرين في الجنوب. وتنام النساء والأطفال داخل الفصول الدراسية، وينام الرجال في الخارج في خيام منصوبة في الفناء. لقد غمرت العواصف المطيرة مؤخرًا خيامنا وأصبح من الصعب جدًا الاهتمام باحتياجاتنا الأساسية

كانت الرحلة عندما غادرنا بسيارة بأعجوبة إلى جنوب قطاع غزة، الى ما سموه المآوي الامنة وكانت ليلتنا الأولى خارج منزلنا مليئة بالذكريات. في الطرقات لعدم توفر مكان بسبب كمية النزوح.

عائلتي تجلس في خيمة الآن، حياة بائسة ليس لها معنى.

ونأمل أن يتم التوصل إلى أي هدنة أو وقف لإطلاق النار. نأمل أن نعود.
