Donate to help Shana and Silas Smith

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Christine. Some of you know that Shana is my “person.” I am very proud to be linked to her that way. It breaks my

heart to write that this past Saturday, June 4th, Shana lost HER person, Shane.

 

Shana and Shane met in high school in 2003. After graduation, they lost touch, but as fate and living in a small town would have it,

they found each other again. One date later, and they were inseparable. Shane became a

staple in all our lives, next to Shana's side. As the years passed, Shane became boyfriend, fiance, father, and husband. He was a good man, and he adored Shana and their little boy,

Silas.

 

Losing a loved one is not easy under the best of circumstances, and Shana and Silas lost

Shane so suddenly. Shana's job is being incredibly understanding, but the time off is not

paid, and

the last thing anyone should worry about while grieving is money.
