Donate to help Shareise Katrell with legal costs

I am supporting a multiply marginalized, early-career scholar with legal and educational costs she has incurred during her doctoral program.
Shariese Katrell is a fourth-year doctoral candidate at Rowan University. Shariese is a Black, disabled woman who is part of the LGBTQ community. She has faced institutional discrimination in many forms throughout the last few years while attempting to complete her doctoral work. As a result, she and her attorney have filed Office of Civil Rights complaints about Title 6, Title 9, and Americans with Disabilities Act violations. These are related to discrimination, intimidation, harassment, unethical leadership practices, and the refusal of accommodation provision by her dissertation committee, despite accommodations being documented by Rowan's disability services. Shareise is awaiting judgment on the complaints.
Shareise has received little funding support throughout her time in graduate school. As a result, she continues to work part-time while incurring legal bills related to her OCR complaints and additional medical bills related to some of her disability support needs. In addition, Shareise has demands from some members of her dissertation committee related to data collection, which requires out-of-pocket expenses for videography, video editing, audio production, and hiring someone to support the collection of conduct/collect interview data.
