Hi, I’m Shenayda Linda Deana and I want to tell you a little bit of my story. I have been a holistic therapist for the last 40 years serving mostly the Phoenix, Arizona area. I am also a teacher and teach self-help and counseling classes in the evenings as well as a practicing reiki master.

Many of you know this but in spring of 2021, while having coffee at Starbucks, I experienced an unusual, spiral break in my left ankle while turning to leave the store because the floor was wet. I ended up needing surgery accompanied with metal reinforcements in my leg and ankle.

The injury to my left leg created undue stress and pain to my right knee. My right leg was also fractured in early 2022 when I slipped and fell on some ice.. Seriously messing up the bone under my knee on the other leg... Along with the fracture, the right knee is also arthritic and the cartilage has dissipated and caused a bone on bone situation.

My knee is healing out sideways and is causing me so much pain that I can't walk...

I had to sleep on the ground and couldn't walk or even get myself into bed for 2 days.

Then last week I got an infection in my other leg that caused me to be rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. I'm here for the next several weeks as they monitor the infection. They took a sample of my blood with the infection in it and are trying to figure out which anti-biotic to give me.

Bottom line is... They told me I can't work at her office for 2 months. (But I can take phone sessions). But still don't have enough business at the moment. I have to break my lease on my apartment which I just moved into... And they're going to keep my deposit and charge me thousands to break my lease.

I hate asking for help but my hands are tied and don't know what to do. If you can't afford anything please don't worry. Send prayers and healing my way because this is the hardest thing I've ever had to go through.

I'm asking for 6k because my monthly expenses are 3k... I can't work and need to break the lease on my apartment, office, hire a moving crew, and pay for my medical bills.
