Donate to Help Steven and Colleen Hurst

I am fundraising on behalf of my sister and brother-in-law, Colleen and Steven Hurst. In March of 2023, Steven suffered a stroke. After being hospitalized, he was transferred to NWO Rehabilitation Hospital. Upon discharge, Steve had been working hard at outpatient therapy and making progress.

Unfortunately, on June 17, 2023, Steven experienced another medical emergency. He was rushed by ambulance to Toledo Hospital were he went into cardiac arrest. Thanks to prayers from friends and family, as well as the staff of Toledo Hospital, Steven has pulled through and continues to fight. It was determined that Steven had suffered from septic shock, had another minor stroke, and needed two cardiac stents.

The goal is for Steven to be transferred again to NWO Rehabilitation Hospital where he can get the best care to get him on the road to recovery again.

Since March, Steven has remained on long term disabilty at work, only receiving 50% of his pay. Colleen has tried to continue to work as close to full time as possible while caring for Steven, taking him to appointments, and now driving back and forth to Toledo to visit him at Toledo Hospital. While their trust in God has been in the forfront of their lives, it has been an overwhelming year for the Hursts.

Medical bills are starting to roll in and Colleen has nearly depleated her vacation time having to care for Steven.

I'm reaching out to friends and family to please consider donating to the Hursts to help with medical expenses. Lets bond together and show our support for them. They've been through a lot and they need our help.
