Donate to help Stevens High School Theater!

Hello! My name is Catherine Gessner and I am the Theater Arts teacher at Stevens High School. As we’re planning for the 23-24 school year, we’re excited to start planning a lot of ambitious projects so our students can continue to advance their education and bring quality performances to the community. However, in order to do that, we need a little extra help than what the school budget provides. Asking for financial assistance is a new realm for us, but it’s certainly worth putting it out there!

These funds will go directly into our technical theater efforts to build a double decker set that will be used in most of our shows moving forward. Extra funds that we make will go directly into updating our lighting and sound systems, which are due for a serious upgrade. Our lights frequently burn out from overheating or break down, and our sound equipment is in constant stages of repairs. This would not only benefit the theater department, but also the music department and any functions that the community would like to have in our auditorium.

As a former Stevens High School student and as an active member in the Claremont community theater, I am proud of the work we are able to do and the way we are always able to help each other. Any donation is appreciated.
