Donate to help Stowell Brothers get new chairs!

Donation protected
As children, Eric and Vernon Stowell were diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This disease affects all voluntary muscles and involves the heart and breathing muscles. Life expectancy is around 25-26, but this can vary depending on the cases. Eric is 22 years old, and Vernon is almost 26 years old. Their sole care provider was their father, who had passed away on Christmas in 2019. They grew up in Post Falls, ID, and in January 2020, they moved into a care facility in Coeur d’Alene, which would become their home. Both boys love to play video games and race each other on their consoles. They rarely get out of bed because they received their wheelchairs about ten years ago and have now outgrown them. The brothers went to watch the monster truck show in the summer of 2021. As many know, these shows can last over three hours, and they were only able to stay for an hour and a half due to the boys being very uncomfortable in their chairs. Eric and Vernon love to be outside, drive their RC cars, and mingle with and torment others. These activities are now almost impossible due to the boy’s wheelchairs being too small. We would love to raise enough money to buy them new wheelchairs so they can live their lives to the fullest.
