Donate to help Sulay!

Hi Everyone,

My fiancee, Kimberly, and I are working through a couple of fundraising outlets to help her mother with an upcoming surgery. They recently received the difficult news of a malignant tumor in one of Sulay's kidneys. With the troublesome Honduran healthcare system, they need our help, prayers, and many blessings from our Heavenly Father for medical treatment, supplies and even blood donations. We'd greatly appreciate anything you are willing to give.

For those who do not know, Sulay is my fiancee's mother and their family in Honduras has quickly become a second family for me abroad, whom I visit as often as possible. Sulay is a mother of 3 children and a grandmother to 2, living in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Her son currently serves as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Chile. Several years ago she recovered from Thyroid Cancer and a Thyroidectomy. She has since been in remission and doing well. However, recently a tumor was found in her kidney and needs to be removed immediately.

Kimberly and her family are working hard to raise funds through local means and even through the help of a popular restaurant chain. However, they need more help; not only for the surgery but the supplies, medications, and blood donations as well - none of which are provided by the third-world Honduran hospital system.

The total cost for the procedure and their immediate needs is around $5,000. We're asking those who are able and willing to donate what you can. My current goal here little more than half that amount.

No amount is too small! We'd be grateful for even the smallest donation and know that would bring tremendous blessings! We know that our Heavenly Father loves His children and will always provide and will bless us, and we're so grateful for all of you!
