Hi, my name is Jacqueline and I'm trying to help raise funds quickly to help one of my best friends (Brenda Navarro) get the testing and surgery she needs - one that her insurance won't cover. The funds would also help with lost wages while she recovers. Brenda is a very strong, independent woman and single mom who never asks for help, but this time she put her pride aside and has called upon her friends for support.

Having had breast cancer myself in 2020 (not-so-fun fact: 1 in 8 women will get it), this situation hits home with me and the risk is nothing to take lightly. I don't know what I would have done without a strong support system of family and friends + good medical insurance to cover all of the scans, tests, chemo and radiation treatments + surgery I needed to win my battle against the big "C." Now it's my turn to pay it forward.

Brenda recently shared that after years of extremely difficult pain and discomfort in her chest ... and a "not so great" mammogram, she finally realized that her health was not improving but getting worse.

At a recent appointment, her doctor confirmed she is showing signs of, and is high risk for breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL). It's a rare type of T-cell lymphoma — cancer of the immune system. It's curable in most people if it’s successfully diagnosed and treated early. He explained the tests that are needed in order to confirm the diagnosis and wants her to have her implants removed regardless, in the next 5 months.
