Help support Murphy's journey to save his leg!

Hello Family, friends and strangers from afar, please let me introduce you to Murphy!

As most of you are aware, I work at an animal ER and last week, this little guy made his way to us with a broken leg that had been caught in a fence and will require special surgery to repair. We think he is around 3 months old, a boxer mix and he is the biggest love bug you will ever meet! His former owners were not willing/able to take on the responsibility for the cost and care that Murphy needed and they just wanted to euthanize :( We said absolutely not and let the owners surrender him to us in the hopes of being able to help this little guy find a new forever home and the medical care he needs. My work used up all the donated funds we had, keeping Murphy happy and healthy at the clinic for the week, until we could find him a forever home ❤️

Luckily, Murphy found an AMAZING home with my sister and brother-in-law and although they are going to get the care he needs no matter the cost, I wanted to help them face this challenge head on and offer some support as an animal loving community. Murphy's surgery can cost upwards of $9k as he will need to have the surgery done by an orthopedic specialist at another hospital, and he will have a few repeat visits and xrays to ensure its healing correctly.
