Hi, my name is Dayna and I am fundraising on behalf of my mother and father in law, Moana and Stanley Comans. On March 29, 2024, Moana and Stan were having a relaxing motorcycle ride like they normally do, when out of nowhere their lives were shifted into chaos. Moana was sent into the air and now has road rash covering her arms and knees…She remembers being in the air thinking to herself, “this is going to hurt”. After she was on the ground looking for Stan, she could see him lying on the ground motionless by his motorcycle. She remembered lying there not being able to move…not being able to get to her husband, not knowing if he was alive. Thankfully he was still with us because they were both wearing their helmets. Stan and Moana were taken to the hospital where we found out that Stan has a broken jaw, a collapsed lung and road rash. Moana was able to come home to begin her recovery. Unfortunately Stan is still in the hospital with a chest tube in to keep his lung inflated. These next few months will be physically taxing for the two of them while they recover. They should not be worried about hospital bills and being able to make ends meet while they are trying to heal. Moana and Stan are the most amazing people you could hope to know. To be near them is to feel loved and know that you are a part of their family.
