Donate to help support the DeWitt family

On September 30, 2023, Amber and Andrew DeWitt welcomed the newest member of their family, a healthy and precious baby boy, Weston. Just a few short days after bringing Weston home Amber was rushed to the ER on October 5th for severe pain in her c-section incision and a high temperature. The doctors found an aggressive bacterial infection, necrotizing fasciitis, and she was put into a medically induced coma. Over the next few days, she underwent 5 surgeries and was in critical condition in the ICU.

The surgeries were successful and she has been removed from ICU, however, she is still hospitalized and has a 6-month road to recovery in front of her between rehab, physical therapy, and in-home care.

Unfortunately, Amber and Andrew do not have medical insurance, so we have started this GoFundMe to raise money to help with the tremendous amount of hospital and recovery care bills they face as well as provide additional support as they navigate new parenthood under such extreme circumstances.

We appreciate everyone’s love, support, and continued prayers. Amber is such a light and is loved by so many and she can’t wait to get home to love on her sweet new baby!
