Help Susy Recover After Losing Everything in the Palisades Fire

Dear friends and family,

Susy Forbath has been a second a mother to my husband, Mike, for most of his life. She and the Forbath's are family. On January 7, 2025, a devastating wildfire tore through the Pacific Palisades, and in its wake, Susy lost everything she had worked so hard for: the home she raised her children in, belongings, and the life she and her children, Malia and Kai, had built over 25 years. The Palisades Fire has left her with nothing but a few pairs of clothing and the overwhelming pain of knowing her home and all her cherished memories are gone.

In the blink of an eye, Susy’s world has been turned upside down, but we know that with the support of loving friends and family, she can recover and find hope in this unimaginable loss.

Susy’s always been the most supportive mother and friend. She’s always been the one to open her home for a place to share the holidays, for a meal, in times of need, or in times of laughter. She’s always there to share her love and kindness with those around her. Now, it’s our turn to help her.
