Hello everyone! Our sister, Suzette Smith, is a single mother of (2) two. Suzette is a loving, phenomenal, and spectacularly compassionate person. She is known for always uplifting and helping those in need.

As one can imagine, it is very hard for make herself vulnerable to reach out to ask for help in what has been such a challenging year. In November of 2021 after having headaches for (1) month and been misdiagnosed with inflammation of the ear and no relief in sight, Suzette decided to seek a second opinion. On December 07, 2021 she was diagnosed with plasma cell myeloma (cancer of the blood).

This past year has been physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritual hard on her. At a glance, one wouldn't know what Suzette has been going through unless she mentions it. Suzette is known to put on a brave face while enduring the painful side effects of the chemo such as neuropathic pain, which directly affects the swelling of her feet, eye infections affecting her vision, as well as chronic bone pain.

Suzette has done her best to work as much as possible for the last year, but unfortunately she will be unable to work for the next six months as she must undergo a procedure called Bone Marrow Transfusion. Many of the financial assistance forms her family have completed have not been responded to or declined altogether.
