Donate to help the Bowers family

This Go Fund Me has been created for those of you, like myself, that want to help this wonderful family in their time of heartache.

For those of you that know Ken and Melody, you know that they are always the first to help everyone. From pets, to people, to friends startup ventures, they are always there. I feel that it is our turn to help lift them. As many of you know, they recently tragically lost their son. Through their immense heartache, in true Bowers style, they have been showing up to raise awareness around this horrible drug, fentanyl, that is making its way into homes across the US. We all think it won’t happen to us, until it does. Their hope is to help others that find themselves in similar situations.

Proceeds will go first to helping the Bowers family lay their son to rest in Colorado, a place he loved dearly. Any funds beyond this that are raised will go to helping them with a special project they are working on called F. E. A. R. (Fentanyl Educational Awareness Resources) It helps to create awareness for the public and helps individuals that are struggling with this addiction while giving support to their families. Through this mission they have gone before the SC Senate and House to fight for Fentanyl laws that now will be passed. They also went before Greenville County School board about Narcan in the schools. The board listened and now more staff will be carrying Narcan. One of the upcoming missions is a walk in Washington DC at the capital in September. It's called Lost Voices of Fentanyl… this go fund me will help them get there.
