Support the Edwards family
Donation protected
On the afternoon of April 9, 2022, Mike Edwards (also known affectionately as U-haul) was on his way home when a dump trunk swerved into his lane and hit him head-on. He sustained severe injuries and was taken immediately to North Georgia Medical Center, where he spent almost three weeks in the ICU. He has undergone multiple surgeries and was just transferred to Shepherd Center in Atlanta for in-patient rehabilitation.
His loving wife, Kristin, has been there by his side every day. She has been juggling caring for him and their young children (ages 7 and 9), as well as her mother, who is in a memory care nursing home in Atlanta. They have both shown incredible strength in the face of adversity. It has obviously not been easy, and the road ahead is long, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Anyone who knows Mike knows that he has grit, determination and an amazing work ethic, which will no doubt help him during this next stage of rehab. But they will need all our love and support as they move forward in this journey.
Mike, Kristin and their whole family are extremely near and dear to our hearts, as we know they are to so many of you. They have always helped others in need, but now it is our turn to help them. Any amount that you can donate would be greatly appreciated. The money will be used to pay for Mike's substantial medical expenses and to help care for their children during this time. If you cannot donate monetarily, please continue to pray for Mike and his sweet family. Thank you!
