After 10 years of fighting his horrible disease, George, a loving husband and an incredible father has lost his battle with brain cancer on the 1st of April 2023.

Hi my name is Alana Serra, I am working along side Cherie Pollard, Talia Iaconis & Katya Serra to help donate money for the Najjar family.

Bad Luck x 3 :

A dear friend Bec Najjar and her husband George are going through the most difficult time in their lives. Rebecca has been on dialysis for two years daily and nine years ago George had been diagnosed with massive brain tumour when their youngest child was only six weeks old.

Fortunately recently in time Rebecca received good news that there was finally a kidney donor. Bec went to hospital and the day of the transplant her husband was rushed to hospital as his brain tumour had returned.

This family has struck with double Bad luck and been hit more than once . Unfortunately George’s brain tumour is inoperable and Bec is his full-time carer.

You can imagine a person who has just had a transplant and the sensitivity that one is faced around that , no time to care for herself while she is still attending the hospital daily to ensure the transplant does not reject is now the full-time carer for her husband‘s daily needs.

This young family have two young daughters and are trying hard to get through it together.
