Prancing Peaches Dance Team

The Prancing Peaches Dance Team is a non-profit organization based in Macon, Georgia that was established in 2014. This Dance Team is comprised of young girls ranging in age from 5 to 19 and travels to various competitions throughout Georgia and occasionally outside the State. Previously The Team has participated in major events such as Fort Valley State University Homecoming, Annual Christmas Parades and the International Cherry Blossom Festival held in Macon Georgia.

Unfortunately even with the successes we’ve had, we still come across a few challenges which is why we’re asking for your support. One of the biggest challenges we’re facing is a shortage of uniforms and travel expenses to cover lodging, food & gas. Sadly, many of these girls come from single-parent homes and the costs are expensive for them. Coach Swain has never turned away any child because of their parent's financial situation. She truly believes that these girls could be anywhere in the world but instead they chose to be with her so she goes above and beyond for them.

Our goal is to attract sponsors who would love to support The Prancing Peaches by showcasing their talents through various competitions. Although this is not classified as a sport, these girls work and train just as hard as any other athlete with tremendous commitment and dedication. We all have a passion and ours is dance. With that said, we’re asking you to please support us by donating a generous contribution. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
