Hi, my name is Megan Brousseau the daughter of Robin Smith and granddaughter of John & Janet Haycox. Many of you have heard by now the details regarding the tragic event that took place on Thursday, July 21st, leaving our families lives forever changed.

John, Janet, and Robin were involved in a rollover motor vehicle collision. Robin and Janet were airlifted in critical condition to a nearby hospital. John did not survive the accident.

Both Janet and Robin have undergone several surgeries in an attempt to stabilize their injuries. Janet sustained significant injuries to her abdomen and pelvis. Robin suffered from a cervical spinal cord injury resulting in potential lifelong paralysis of her extremities. Robin will need to undergo significant out of state rehabilitation at a leading spinal cord injury center to hopefully regain some motor function back over the course of several months to a year.
