Our one year old cat, Kinoko, was just diagnosed with FIP
Hello,
My name is Bay, and I'm raising funds to help pay for my cat's feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) treatment. FIP is a fatal systemic coronavirus infection and a leading cause of death in young cats, and while not FDA approved, treatment does still exist. Kinoko just turned one year old on April 24th and recieved his diagnosed just two days later.
The treatment for FIP is GS-441524, and it has been used to successfully treat cats in the UK and Australia but has yet to be approved in the United States. Because of this, treatment is incredibly expensive and hard to come by. We have already acquired two days worth of the medication and he has already shown signs of improvement, but we need to continue the treatment for two months in order for him to be cured.
Anything helps, even if it's just a few pennies or simply sharing this GoFundMe to spread awareness. He is so young, and it pains us to see him suffering in this way.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and considering donating or spreading the word. It means so much to us.
