We are fundraising for our brother Tim Baker and his family. On 04/22/2024 Tim was driving home on Highway 98 when he got into a severe accident. His truck collided with a dump truck while he was going 75mph. He was immediately airlifted to Bayonet Point Hospital, where he underwent surgery from 8pm to 2am. Tim suffered multiple fractures, including a right femur fracture, right tibia and fibula fracture, left knee fracture, and left femur fracture. The next day on 04/23/2024, he had to undergo another surgery on his right leg. His recovery journey will be long and challenging for him and his family. He will be in the hospital for roughly 3 weeks, or more, and will then stay in a rehab center for weeks after that. Currently, Tim has rods and pins in his legs, and his right knee is still fractured. He will not be able to put weight on it for six to eight weeks. Despite all the difficulties, Tim is still maintaining a positive attitude and cracking jokes while laying in his hospital bed. The police officers, tow truck drivers, and paramedics who treated him all agree that he is very lucky to be alive. Tim and his family appreciate everyone who has messaged him, his girlfriend, or his sister, but they do not expect anything from anyone. It is hard to keep everyone updated, but they are trying their best. Tim has a long and challenging road ahead, and will be out of work for a long time. All donations are greatly appreciated and will help drastically with medical bills, and supporting his family. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers!
