    Hi, this fundraiser is for my mother-in-law Tina Rempel. She has had multiple medical emergencias due to health problems throughout her life. 

  Right now we are worried about her health due to her kidneys. She has had a cancerous tumor removed from her left kidney a couple years ago, but she continued to have medical problems. She had to go back to the hospital in August of 2022 due to extreme kidney pain. She had 4 stones in her left kidney. 

  Thankfully, the Doctors were able to help her to a certain degree, but she wasn’t able to do the procedure needed remove the kidney stones due to not being able to pay. 

  Now, since we didn’t have the money to do the treatment/procedure in August, her kidney cannot be saved. 

  In August her left kidney functioned at 41% with 4 stones, now (January) her left kidney only has 14% and she has 8 stones in there.

  The doctors said that removing the stones with the procedure they had wanted back in August would not be enough to remove all the stones and it could damage damage both kidneys since the one with the stones is at such a low function. The only option they have is to remove the the left kidney and make sure the other kidney stays healthy.

  She had her kidney removed the 10th of January. 

  If we didn’t do it now, her right kidney will become infected as well and will also stop working. We want her to have a long life ahead of her. She will die if we don’t do this surgery…

  We are asking for $20,000. This is the amount we are estimating on. 

  She has a lot more medical problems according to the doctors but this our focus right now.
