On February 6, 5 days before his birthday, Tong was stuck by a vehicle while exiting a public bus in Toledo, Ohio. His single mother and sister are desperately in need of support from their community, school, and extended family. Please give what you can.

About Tong: He is a brilliant young aspiring classical bassist who is a senior in high school currently enrolled at the University of Toledo.

update on his health: He is in critical condition and will need major surgery to reduce the pressure on his brain. He has also a punctured lung and broken rib and broken rights hand. He has a long recovery. He is showing signs of movement and awake but he still is in much pain and will need constant care in the next few months.
