Our dear friend Trevor has had his worst nightmare come true.

While away on contract, Calloway took seriously ill and was rushed to emergency vet care. He had a urinary blockage but after that was cleared it was discovered he had stage 4 kidney disease and any quality of life going forward would be too painful. Trevor had to decide to say goodbye while he was far away.

If you have met Trevor you know that Cal was more than a pet, he was a soulmate. They had 8 years together and I’m sure both thought they had many more.

The pain of this is difficult enough but Trev has been left with an enormous bill for the couple of days they spent trying to save his life. A massive thank you to Heather and Zoe at the vet college for taking such amazing care of Cal in his final days. And to Megan MacDonald for rushing him there and being with him.
