Donate to help two homeless teens

During May (2022) two teens were removed from their home after their mom suffered a mental breakdown, was hospitalized and no longer able to care for them. They suffer from disabilities and require professional treatment. They have no living relatives or friends who can care for them. To preserve their privacy, I have not included their photographs.

I am supporting these children at this time, and I am requesting donations to help pay for their food, clothing, weekly therapy, school supplies and day camp for both teens. These amazing children deserve the care, love, and the basic necessities to help them recover from the neglect and abuse they have experienced; and thrive.

I want to thank my dear friends for their outpouring of kindness and donations of furniture. I want to personally thank City Councilor John Stefanini for his dedication and advocacy on behalf of these children.

The picture was drawn by the teen girl. She drew a picture of herself, her brother and me with my 18-year-old cat whom she has grown to love.
