Infant open-heart surgery expenses

Hello, my name is Carter and I have created this Go Fund Me to humbly ask for community help for my brother (Steven) and sister-in-law (Sammie)as well as my new twin niece and nephew.

This fall my nephew will require heart surgery for a rare condition caused by a combination of defects that were present at birth.

Steven and Sammie have both secured time off from their jobs to help little man through the initial recovery process which will be 8-10 weeks. Unfortunately, this time is unpaid for them both. Additionally, Sammie has already been off on unpaid leave since February due to complications from her high risk pregnancy. They will need help with monthly expenses and mounting hospital costs.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask you for help to relieve some of the financial pressure as they are already facing some challenging days ahead with the surgery alone.
