Hi everyone! My name is Christine. We own two beautiful cats, who are our world. A few days ago, we noticed our furbaby Vex wasn't eating. He was sneezing and sleeping a lot. We took him to the vet and had his bloodwork done. Our vet suspects he has Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). This is 100% fatal if left untreated. There is no traditional treatment available but there is a life saving medication that has been proven to work. This treatment has shown great results and has saved thousands of cats and kittens. This treatment is also very, very expensive.
Where the Funds are Going
The treatment would run for 12 weeks for a total of $5,950. However, if treatment works and Vex gains weight, it will cost more in addition to vet follow-up costs.

We adopted a stray cat without knowing she was pregnant. She gave birth to 5 beautiful kitties and we've had him since. He's now 6 years old. He's always been a happy cat, meowing and exploring his environment. His signature move is flopping down on his side and meowing that he's content. He was raised with 4 brothers and sisters, two of whom have passed away with what we now suspect was FIP.
He lost 4 lbs and has an elevated globulin level. A normal cat's globulin levels range from 2.3-5.3 and Vex's is at 8.1, an extremely high value. He also has a fever and has been sneezing.
Currently, he sleeps all day and he is still not accepting food. His belly pouch has pretty much disappeared! We are extremely worried about him. He’s more than just a cat – he’s family. We’re not ready to say goodbye just yet, and with your help, we could save him.
