COVID-19 Medical Expenses and Long Term Recovery.

Hello, my name is Troy and as most of you know I was hospitalized for severe COVID-19 symptoms and pneumonia. I have spent almost 2 weeks in the ICU at Medical City Denton and I am happy to say I will be going home soon!!

The doctors and medical staff saved my life and I came close multiple times to being intubated and placed on a ventilator to breathe. I could not be happier to have a second chance at life and I am so grateful for everyone's outpouring of support and love. Without everyone checking on me, I don't know how I could have made it through this.

I am faced with serious medical expenses and long term aftercare due to my lungs and my cognitive abilities. My Doctor has been very straight forward with me regarding the challenges I will be facing once I am discharged from the hospital. I am looking at long term covid related issues continuing specialist visits. However, I am so thankful to be alive and to see my son and girlfriend again soon. I am ready for any challenge placed in front of me.

 Any help, even just well wishes are extremely appreciated and I really look forward to thanking everyone personally once I am recovered for all of their support.
