Hello, on May 14, 2022 our beloved son, brother, father, husband, uncle, and grandpa, Douglas Baker passed away from a heart attack. We are hoping to raise enough money to help his wife pay for funeral and memorial costs. Anything helps, thank you.
Gene Douglas Baker "Doug", of Kettering, OH passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2022. He was born on June 30, 1972 in Kettering, OH. Doug is preceded in death by grandparents, Wayne and Theda Burchett.
Doug is survived by his loving wife, Janet Baker (Tangeman); daughter, Kayla Baker; stepson, Anthony (Hayden Juul) Fosdick and granddaughter, Wrylin. Doug is survived by his devoted mother, Elaine Baker; sister, Nicole (Gina) Brumfield; niece and nephew, Adison and Eli Brumfield. He will be missed by many in-laws, cousins, and close friends.
Doug graduated from Belmont High School in 1990. He was employed with GM-Delphi for sixteen years and Amazon.
Doug was a very creative artist. He loved to draw, paint and create from a young age. He shared this passion with Kayla. In his free time, he watched DC Comics, Marvel and Star Wars films.
Doug also enjoyed working out, grilling meals for his family, and watching Steelers football. He had a competitive spirit and loved to shoot pool, play darts and cards. He especially looked forward to sand volleyball on Fridays and nightly Jeopardy with Janet.
