Helping the Weaver Family with ongoing costs.

On Saturday, July 1st an amazing friend and member of our Eve car racing family had a devastating accident while doing something she loved. Katie hit the wall at 70+ miles an hour during the obstacle race. She suffered a fractured neck and stretched spinal cord. As a result of her injuries, Katie is unable to breathe on her own, use her left arm, hand or leg and is limited on her right side. Katie has so far been through two surgeries to repair her fractured neck. She will be needing more surgeries in the future. She remains in the hospital in the surgical ICU and has a very long road ahead of her and her future is uncertain.

Now Katie is a fighter and has been defying all the odds that have been stacked against her. So we are remaining hopeful and positive.

If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting her or her husband Tommy, I'm here to tell you they both are the kindest, most selfless people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. They would literally give the shirt off their backs to help you out. Tommy will be needing to step away from work for a while to be on this journey with Katie. They have 3 very beautiful girls as well. This fundraiser will help with travel costs, hotels, medical bills, bills at home and anything Katie, Tommy and the girls need.

Now neither Tommy nor Katie would ever ask for help, but I promise you they would be the first in line to help you if you needed it. Please help if you can even if that means sharing this on your timelines. We love you, Katie and Tommy.
