Donate to help with Steve's medical expenses

Hi everyone,

I'm Steve's cousin and am starting this GoFundMe page to help Steve and his family with medical and household expenses while he's undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments. At the end of January, after an MRI and CT scan, Steve was diagnosed with an aggressive form of small-cell lung cancer. The tests showed a mass on his lung and also 2 small tumors on his brain. Treatment began immediately with radiation on the tumors in his brain and radiation and chemo to his lung will begin soon. This type of cancer can be treated and will hopefully go into remission but it can't be cured.

This has all happened very fast and Steve hasn't been able to work since the end of December. The family has immediate financial needs with a great need for gas money since they travel quite a distance for daily treatments.

If you're able, please help. They're looking into other sources for financial assistance but those take time if they'll even qualify. Steve has a CaringBridge site and a link follows for that to receive updates.
