Aloha, My name is Wendy Pualani and I'm reaching out to all of you beautiful people out there for help. I met Wes when I moved to Colorado Springs and got a job at this cool indoor food truck concept of a restaurant. He was the Kitchen Manager there and we hit it off instantly. His no-nonsense realness was refreshing and his never-give-up attitude was something I didn't see much from back home. He's a kind soul and the definition of a true friend. He tells the truth even if you might not like it, because he knows that lying about life will never help you be a better person. Even so, he knows compassion and love and always does his best to help others in any way he can. He's grown up learning in life to pick yourself up from the hard knocks in life, so asking for help is not his strong suit. When I found out what was going on, I immediately suggested doing a gofundme for help. I offered to set it up as I could see that he needed the help, but felt uncomfortable asking for it...especially from strangers. As you see in this video he is in desperate need for a kidney transplant. A year of the systems' neglect and lack of responsibility and communication have brought him to this point. This man is the kind of man that would have your back in a heartbeat and never flinch, so I'm honored to share this video to help him get the kidney he needs. Our goal is $20,000 as the kidney alone is $12,000. He can't work...he tried already when he shouldn't have because he needed the money. Help me help this man get the healing and repair he needs to leave his own legacy for his daughter...that is his wish. Thank you from the depths of both our hearts.
