To know my mother was to adore her. On November 7th, my mother lost her battle with cancer. Her battle was far too short, but she fought every day ferociously. Her wild gypsy soul never lost its sparkle. She planned her next adventures with certainty because she never for a second considered letting the disease win. It all moved so fast, leaving us without time to plan. The cost of losing someone is so much more than paper and coin. The finances of her aftercare should not have to be a burden as well.
