Douglas Dean Casey was born on June 24, 1969 in Branson, Missouri. He was the cherished son of James “Jim” & Cheryl Casey. Doug grew up in Branson and attended Branson High School. His first job was working with his dad in the garage on cars. He was a quick learner and used his skills and love of cars throughout his life working on and painting automobiles. He also spent time with his family, dirt track racing in his youth.
Doug had lived several years in Kansas before moving to Warsaw from Ottawa, KS to be cared for by family after his cancer diagnosis.
Doug will be remembered for his love of his family and the outdoors. Time with his parents, sister, children and grandchildren were the highlight of his life. He also enjoyed the adventures of camping and ending the day sitting around the campfire.
Doug entered into rest on July 9, 2024 at his home in Warsaw, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Casey.
He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Casey of Branson; his children, Kayla Page and Megan Flowers and their mother Cindy Willard; his children, Jessica Casey, Jade Casey, Bryce Casey and Hayden Casey and their mother Billijo Harned; and his son, Brayden Bunch and his mother Janna Russell. He also will be deeply missed by his sister, Stephanie Anderson and his nine beloved grandchildren.
Doug was laid to rest in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at Victor Baptist Church in Branson followed by a time of gathering at the home of his mother, Cheryl Casey from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
