Donate to Honor Moses's Memory and Help His Family Rebuild

A loving family’s world has been shattered by an unthinkable tragedy. Moses, their beloved son, brother, and the rock of their family, tragically took his own life. Moses was a beacon of light in his family’s life—a cheerful and kind soul who had a unique ability to lift others up, even when he himself was carrying invisible burdens. His parents, San Juanita and German, his sister Felicia and his brother German Jr., are now left to navigate a world without him. Moses was the one who held his family together, working tirelessly to support his father, his brother German Jr., and his mother, who has dedicated her life to caring for German Jr. as he battles schizophrenia.
Now, this family is left grappling with overwhelming grief and an uncertain future. They’ve lost not only their loved one but also the stability and security he worked so hard to provide. The financial strain, combined with the emotional devastation, feels unmeasurable.
This tragedy is a painful reminder of the silent battles so many men face. Moses bore his pain quietly, as society often discourages men from expressing vulnerability or asking for help. His loss is a heartbreaking call to action: we must do more to create a world where men can feel safe seeking support.
Right now, this family needs our compassion and our support.
Here’s how your donation can make an impact:
- Funeral and Burial Costs: Helping them say goodbye to Moses with dignity and love.
- Therapy for the Entire Family: Providing critical counseling for Fee, their father, their mother, and German Jr. to help them process this profound loss.
- Relocation Costs: Allowing them to move closer to loved ones who can provide vital emotional and logistical support.
- Living and Emergency Expenses: Easing the financial strain as they adjust to life without Moses’s support.
We’ve set a goal of $50,000 to give this grieving family the resources they need to begin to heal. All unused funds will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Your generosity—no matter the size—can help this family rebuild their lives. It can give them hope. It can remind them that even in their darkest moments, they are not alone.
If you can’t donate, please share their story with others. Together, we can ensure Moses’s legacy of love and kindness lives on through the generosity of those moved by his story.
Thank you for opening your heart and helping this family rebuild their lives.
Best,
