iMBY Storage Project

The iMBY Storage Project will relieve some of the burden of being on the streets by providing a space for the unhoused to store their belongings via a decentralized network of storage options.

We are aiming to launch in the Fall of 2024, with iMBY volunteers throughout Albuquerque graciously allowing their allied businesses, organizations, faith-based institutions, and homes to be used as iMBY storage locations for our unhoused neighbors.

The money we raise through this fundraiser will be used to create as many as 10 storage locations for our unhoused brothers and sisters around the Albuquerque metro area, our pilot city. We will purchase and brand 10 heavy-duty storage units as well as industrial locks to secure each unit. The revenue will also be used for outreach, design materials, and additional administrative costs.
