Donate to Improve Jim Hubbard's Quality of Life

I am reaching out to ask for your help in supporting my brother-in-law, Jim Hubbard, my sister, Terry Hubbard, and their family during one of the hardest times they’ve ever faced. Jim has always had a huge heart and has been a rock for his family.
Jim worked as an oceanographer for over 35 years for the federal government.
He is a father to five children and a grandfather to two beautiful girls. He was a Boy Scout leader for many years, and after retirement he worked at Quince Orchard high school helping disabled children. He has supported his wife and children in every aspect of their lives.
Now Jim needs our help. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease a couple of years ago, and while we knew, it would be a tough road, the progression of his illness has recently accelerated. In just a matter of months his condition has worsened significantly, affecting his mobility, his ability to care for himself, and his overall quality of life.
As you can, imagine, this has taken a huge toll on everyone, especially my sister, who is doing everything she can to care for him despite her own health challenges, watching them go through this has been heartbreaking, we are starting this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the immense financial strain they’re facing. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward: medical treatments, doctors visits, weekly therapy and medication’s. Home care support to give my sister, some relief from the daily caregiving demands. and essential equipment and accommodations to improve Jim’s quality of life.
If you can’t, donate, we understand completely. Even just sharing this fundraiser with your network, would mean the world to us. The more people who see this, the more support we can gather to help Jim and his family through this incredibly difficult time.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read this, for your kindness, and for standing with us in this fight. Your generosity, thoughts, and prayers mean everything to us.
With deep gratitude,
Karen Grossnickle, sister
