Donate to Improve Lexi's Quality of Life

This is Lexi. She is 19 years old. She is a pretty happy kid unless she’s feeling sick and in the hospital. She loves Taylor Swift and Benson Boone. She loves watching cooking shows and murder shows. She is just a social butterfly. She lights up any room she enters. She has had over 37 surgeries and way more than that in hospitalizations. She is deaf and blind on her left side and partially blind and deaf in her right side. She uses her wheelchair and arm crutches to get around. She is in the hospital a lot because of her seizures. She has an implant VNS to try to stop her seizures and more then 6+ seizure meds that aren’t helping. On top of that, she still needs her cleft palate fixed and several more mouth and nose surgeries to fix that.

We need to move closer to Lexington, KY for the hospitals there. The hospitals where we are living can’t handle all of her care. My husband has a job lined up there already. He is supposed to start in May. But unfortunately, with bills and hospital stays, we have used up our savings. We are hoping to raise some funds so we can move to KY to get the care Lexi needs to have a great quality of life. I stay at home to care for Lexi and her brother. Any help would be so appreciated to help us get closer to better care for Lexi.

This is my loving sister. Her name is Lexi Knecht, She is an absolute treat & is a wonderful sister. It is such a pleasure for me to say that I live with her. She has tetrasomi 13 mosaic, dandywalker syndrome, has seizures & much more. She is an absolute trooper going through almost 30 surgeries now, she has had her entire face & legs reconstructed & so much more.
