Hello, my name is James, proud grandfather of 12. I am currently retired on a fixed income, Social Security. It's been about a year or so that I have had a nerve problem with my left leg, causing a drop foot. It has made me fall at times, my toe catching the ground causing me to lose my balance and fall to the ground. The nerve now has caused my hip to give out. Currently, I am now using a walker. I have had extensive tests to determine the cause of this. Further x-rays have determined there is a nerve near the lower vertebra that is rubbing on the nerve, affecting my leg and my hip. My back specialist determines surgery is required, which in turn will be a hardship for me.
