My name is Jesse Richardson and I am 20 years old. Three weeks ago my life quickly changed when a lingering cough and congestion turned into a diagnosis of T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It's a very aggressive form of Leukemia that requires me to have treatment for the next three years. The first 7-8 months are the most intense and I am no longer able to work and provide for myself. My treatment includes hospital stays for chemo through spinal treatments where they put me to sleep and weekly chemo infusions.
I just graduated with my Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems from FGCU and was planning on finding a career, but life has other plans for me now. I'm setting this up because I cannot provide for myself anymore but I look forward to fighting this, winning, and starting the career I worked so hard for in college. We are uncertain how much of my treatment will be covered by insurance. Any money donated would help go towards my medical bills, monthly bills, and my comfort so I can focus on beating this nasty cancer with minimal stress and getting back to life. I trust that God has a plan for me and I’m buckled up to fight with him on my side.
